Fall Sips

Pumpkin spice, cinnamon apple, maple syrup... so many great flavours that make up Fall! 

These drinks are perfect to serve at Thanksgiving or to enjoy any day of the week! 

 

Cranberry Mimosa

4 oz cranberry juice
8 oz sparkling wine* 
fresh cranberries, for garnish
raw sugar, for garnish (optional) 

Wet champagne flute rims then dip in raw sugar.
Pour cranberry juice then add sparkling wine.
Add fresh cranberries then serve. 
*For a non-alcoholic version, add sparkling water or soda instead.

Pumpkin Pie Latte

2 cups milk (or milk alternative of choice)
1/2 cup hot coffee
2 tablespoons pumpkin puree, or more to taste
1-2 tablespoons sugar, adjust to taste
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice, plus more for serving
whipped cream for serving

Add milk, pumpkin puree and sugar to a saucepan over medium heat. Heat until hot, be careful not to boil. 
Remove from heat then whisk in pumpkin pie spice, vanilla and coffee. 
Pour into mug then top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice.

Apple Cider

1 orange, peeled
10 medium apples, cored, quartered
3 cinnamon sticks (or 1 Tablespoon ground cinnamon)
2 teaspoons ground cloves
sugar to taste
water

Add all ingredients to a slow cooker, then fill with water so that all fruit are covered. Cook on low heat for 6 hours. 
Mash fruit to release more juices then cook for another hour. 
Carefully strain contents, keeping only the liquid. Taste and add more sugar if needed. Serve warm

Pear Punch

3 cups pear juice or nectar 
2 cups Ginger beer
juice of one lemon
pear slices for garnish 

To a pitcher, add pear juice, Ginger beer and lemon juice. Mix well. 
Add ice into glasses and pour the pear punch into glasses. Garnish with sliced pear. 

2-3 servings




Maple Cinnamon Latte 

1/4 cup espresso or strong coffee
1-2 teaspoon maple syrup
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
pinch of cinnamon
3/4 cup steamed milk

Add maple syrup, vanilla and cinnamon to mug then add coffee. Mix well. 
Add steamed milk and combine. If you have a milk frother, top with milk foam then drizzle of maple syrup.
