Raclette 101

Imagine a dinner with smooth, melty, cheese poured on top of potatoes, meat and more... the best cheese for this is raclette! 

Raclette is a Swiss Alpine cheese that is usually made with cow's milk. It is semi-hard, mild in flavour, but is extremely great for melting. 

A Raclette Dinner

Raclette dinners are popular throughout Europe and it is eaten during the cold months. great because it is extremely customizable to your liking. You can enjoy several different accompaniments of your choice! Most common is potato, cured meats such as salami, as well as some gherkins. The sourness of the gherkins pairs well with the creamy cheese. 

What You Need:
- Coupelles or small pans which you heat the raclette on
- Heat Source: tabletop grills, mini stove or special raclette grills
- Accompaniments of your choice
