Avo-Fries
Avocado made into fries?! What more could you want
Ingredients
- 2 avocados
- 1 lime
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 2 tbsp oil or cooking spray
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400F
- Slice the avocados into wedges then squeeze lime juice over top
- Spread 1 tbsp of the oil on to a baking sheet or use cooking spray
- Dredge the avocado wedges into flour, dip in the beaten egg then cover in bread crumbs
- Place the avocado wedges onto the baking sheet in one single layer
- Drizzle the remaining tbsp of oil over the top of the wedges
- Place the baking sheet into the oven for 13-15 minutes, or until golden brown
- Serve with your favourite dipping sauce. Optionally, grate parmesan over top or garnish with chopped cilantro
