Leftover Roast Recipe:Beef Dip
Try it with our fresh creamed horseradish recipe.
Heat Au Jus in pan over medium heat until boiling.
Butter Buns & then toast them in oven or toaster oven for 3-4 mins at 375°F.
Place shaved meat into Au Jus for 5-10 secs & remove, set aside.
Place warmed meat into hoagie bun & serve with 1/2 of the Au Jus, for dipping. Enjoy!
- 1 Leftover roast, shaved very finely (approximately 4-5 oz per sandwich)
- 2-4 Hoagie buns
- 1-2 tbsp Butter
For the Au Jus:
- 1/2 cup Beef drippings
plus 1/2 cup water or 1 cup beef stock
- 1 tbsp Soy sauce
