Grandma's Yorkshire Pudding

Grandma's Yorkshire Pudding

A delicious compliment to our roast beef recipe! Makes 6-8 Yorkshire puddings

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F. Using a large muffin tin, spoon out as much of
the beef drippings from roast as you can into the muffin tins (8 muffin
    cups total).

  2. Place an additional 1-2 tsp vegetable oil, per muffin cup. There should
be about 1/2 inch of oil ⁄ drippings in the bottom of each cup.

  3. Place oil filled muffin tray into oven & allow to heat for 10 mins or until
    the oil is smoking hot.

  4. While the pan is heating, mix all remaining ingredients.

  5. Once pan is heated, place 2-3 tbsp of batter in each cup. Be careful, it will be extremely hot. You will also have to do this step rather fast.

  6. Bake Yorkshires for 12-15 mins until they rise well above the edge of the cups & are a golden brown colour.

  7. Carefully remove from oven. IMPORTANT: Make sure that the roast rests for a minimum of 20 mins before carving.

Ingredients
