Fall Salads

When you think Fall foods, usually hearty foods like soup and chili come to mind. As great and comforting as that is, sometimes you need a Fresh break! And since Fall is a great time for apples, pears, grapes, pumpkin, and more - making a fresh, crisp salad using these great ingredients is the perfect way to go.

Here are some of our favourite salads with a tasty Fall flare!

Apple-Walnut Salad

Ingredients: 

Apple slices, cored with peel on (ambrosia, honeycrisp, gala, are all great options) 
Craisins 
Walnuts 
Feta
Baby Spinach 

Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing: 

Extra virgin olive oil
Balsamic Vinegar
Dijon mustard
Honey


Pear & Prosciutto Salad

Ingredients:

Pear Slices or wedges (cored)
Prosciutto 
Grapes, halved
Goat Cheese
Arugula 
Baby Spinach

Apple Cider Vinaigrette:

Apple cider vinegar 
extra virgin olive oil
 

Roasted Pumpkin Salad

Ingredients:

Roasted pumpkin or squash
Quinoa 
Kale
Pomegranate
Spring onion
Sunflower seeds 

Dressing:

Olive oil
Lemon juice
