Ingredients
2 lbs salmon cut into fillets
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp paprika for Salmon Dry Seasoning + 1/4 tsp for Maple Glaze
1/8 tsp creole seasoning
1/8 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
salt to taste
black pepper to taste Salmon Dry Seasoning + 1/8 tsp for Maple Glaze
1/2 cup Uncle Luke’s Pure Maple Syrup
3 Tbsp light brown sugar
1 1/2 Tbsp fresh lime juice
2 tsp garlic minced
Directions

Step 1: Pat the salmon fillets dry and season with salt and black pepper.

Step 2: In a small bowl, whisk together the remaining spices. Place the salmon in the center of a large piece of greased or non-stick foil, leaving enough foil around the edges to fold over and seal. Sprinkle the spice mixture evenly over the salmon, gently pressing it into the fillets before baking.

Step 3: Combine all of the maple glaze ingredients in a small bowl and whisk until smooth. Brush or spoon the glaze generously over the salmon.

Step 4: Fold the foil up and seal it tightly around the salmon, adding an extra sheet of foil if needed to fully enclose it.

Step 5: Bake for 14–15 minutes, or until the salmon is just cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Step 6: Remove the salmon from the oven and switch to broil.

Step 7: Open the foil and broil until the glaze is golden and caramelized.

Step 8: Remove from the oven and serve.
