Ingredients
2 cups raw pecan halves
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon butter, melted
1 teaspoon hot sauce
½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon smoked paprika
Directions

Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2: In a large bowl, combine the honey, melted butter, hot sauce, cayenne pepper, salt and smoked paprika. Stir until smooth.

Step 3: Add the pecan halves and toss until evenly coated.

Step 4: Spread the pecans in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.

Step 5: Roast for 10–12 minutes, stirring halfway through. Watch carefully toward the end of cooking, as the nuts can burn quickly.

Step 6: Remove from the oven and cool on the baking sheet for approximately 10 minutes. The pecans will continue to crisp as they cool.

Step 7: Once completely cool, transfer to an airtight container. Serve as a snack, add to a charcuterie board or package as a gift.
