Fresh St. Market Kamloops Hosts Exciting 5-Minute Grocery Dash in Support of the RIH Foundation
At Fresh St. Market, we're proud to support the communities we serve, and recently, our Kamloops store had the opportunity to take part in a truly memorable fundraising experience.

In partnership with the Royal Inland Hospital Foundation, one lucky auction winner put their shopping skills to the test with a 5-minute, $1,000 Grocery Dash through Fresh St. Market Kamloops. The unique experience was offered as a live auction item during the Foundation's Royal Affair gala fundraiser, helping raise funds to support vital healthcare initiatives and equipment at Royal Inland Hospital.

Watch the Grocery Dash in Action

With just five minutes on the clock, the winning shoppers navigated the store with a carefully planned route, filling their cart with up to $1,000 worth of groceries. From premium meats and fresh seafood to everyday essentials, every second counted as they raced through the aisles.

While the dash only lasted five minutes, preparation started well before the clock began. As highlighted in CFJC Today's coverage, the winners visited the store in advance to plan their strategy, ensuring they made the most of their shopping spree.

Community Partnerships That Make a Difference

The Grocery Dash was about much more than filling a cart. The live auction prize helped raise funds for the Royal Inland Hospital Foundation, supporting programs, services, and equipment that benefit patients throughout the Thompson-Nicola region. Our Kamloops team was thrilled to participate. Store staff ensured the market was fully stocked and ready for the event, giving the winners the same Fresh St. Market shopping experience our customers enjoy every day.

Supporting meaningful community initiatives is at the heart of what we do, and we're grateful to partner with organizations that create a positive impact for local families.

Thank You, Kamloops

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who supports local fundraising initiatives, healthcare foundations, and community partnerships. Together, we're helping make a difference for patients and families across our region.

We look forward to participating in more community events that bring people together while supporting important local causes.
