Roasted Brussels Sprouts
with pumpkin seeds, cranberries and UMAMI Original
- 1 lb brussel sprouts
- 1/4 C roasted pumpkin seeds
- 1/4 C dried cranberries, chopped
- extra virgin olive oil
- salt & pepper
- UMAMI Crave the Fifth Original
Set oven to "broil". Remove ends and halve brussel sprouts. Peel off some leaves from the sprouts (about 2 cups) and set aside. Toss halved sprouts in EVOO, season with salt and pepper
Place sprouts on a sheet pan and broil for 5 minutes. Remove from oven and reduce heat to 350.
Drizzle pumpkin seeds with a little EVOO, salt and pepper. Toss and roast pumpkin seeds for 7 minutes, then remove from oven and cool completely.
Toss roasted sprouts and leaves with all remaining ingredients. Serve with fresh parmesan (optional) and finish with an UMAMI Crave the Fifth drizzle.
